Colombia Aipecito

Aipecito is located in northern Huila, a region that produces coffee with vibrant acidity and floral notes. The volcanic soil and the nearby Bache river have provided ideal conditions for coffee growing here for generations of dedicated smallholder farmers. Azahar has worked with some of these farmers for over a decade and recent improvements in techniques have helped further push the quality of their coffee.

This lot undergoes a traditional washed process before drying. In the cup, you'll find a sweet combination of pear and citrus fruits along with gentle floral complexity.
